Cutie Killed

Cutie Killed

「Cutie Killed」

Cutie Killed

Their cuteness is innate, but their deaths are man-made. “Cutie Killed” is a series of doll designs that address the issue of roadkill. Plush toys, objects deeply rooted in contemporary popular culture, serve as the medium through which the project presents this topic. These eye-catching yet disarmingly cute objects pierce public indifference to roadkill and invite viewers to confront a tragedy that often goes unnoticed along the roadside.

“Cutie Killed” is not merely a collection of designed objects, but a communication strategy that intervenes in public discourse. By attaching the dolls to bags and integrating them into everyday movement, the issue of roadkill becomes visible, discussable, and memorable. Through this design translation, the project seeks to raise awareness of road environments, ecological protection, and human responsibility—ultimately encouraging small but meaningful steps toward change.
