誠實鈕扣行

我們的發想始於一個小而常被忽略的物件——鈕扣。它看起來微不足道，卻默默地把衣服扣好，使其完整；然而，它也可能在某一天鬆動或掉落。我們將這視為人際關係的一種隱喻：當連結牢固時，就像鈕扣緊緊扣住；而當情感開始鬆動時，鈕扣也可能慢慢解開，甚至掉落。
為了更深入了解鈕扣，我們走訪了鈕扣行，與店家交談，並觀察各種材質與形狀的鈕扣。在這個過程中，我們發現，鈕扣不僅是功能性的物件，也承載著時間的痕跡、日常生活的記憶，甚至是一種身份的象徵。根據這些觀察，我們創造了一個名為誠實鈕扣行的世界。在這個世界裡，鈕扣象徵人生中那些鬆動或不穩定的部分，而重新縫上鈕扣的過程，其實就是誠實面對自己的過程。
我們的設計以「連結」為核心。在當今快速流動的社會中，人與人之間的關係變得越來越脆弱。失戀、壓力、家庭衝突，甚至記憶流失，都像是人生中逐漸鬆動的部分。因此，我們以漫畫圖像呈現，創造了一間沒有營業時間、也沒有價目表的店，。老闆會為每一位面臨人生困難的人修理鈕扣。角色表面上是在修鈕扣，但實際上是在面對自身的人生課題。每一顆被縫上的鈕扣都會「說話」，提醒他們誠實面對內心。透過這種帶有寓言感的敘事，我們希望觀者能在角色身上看到自己的影子。

HONEST BUTON SHOP

Sometimes, a piece of clothing feels incomplete when a button is missing. Though small and often overlooked, buttons hold garments together, keeping them functional and whole. Like human relationships, strong connections maintain stability; when they loosen, bonds can unravel, leaving empty spaces once filled with warmth and care.
We visited many button shops, spoke with shopkeepers, and observed various shapes, sizes, and materials. Each button is more than functional—it carries memories, tells stories, and reflects identity and style.
HONEST BUTTON SHOP was inspired by this idea: repairing buttons represents honestly facing life’s fragile or overlooked parts with patience and care. The shop has no fixed hours or price list, creating a calm space for reflection.
While mending buttons, visitors often reflect on their emotions, experiences, and relationships. Each button “speaks” in its own way, reminding people to care for themselves and cherish meaningful connections.
