蜆紙生花

經過我們調查，花蓮壽豐鄉這個地區有孕育出叫做黃金蜆的產物，這項產物在台灣其他地區都有，但主要這個地方非常的多，同樣的他們那邊的蜆殼廢棄物也非常的多多能堆到一座山這麼高，而蜆殼磨成粉後有一種碳酸鈣的成分可促進種子發芽，所以我們想到讓蜆殼從自然來，再以另一種方式再回歸到自然當中。
而花蓮有好山好水的稱號，我們選擇在地的生態花卉實現好山的理念，好水的部分我們則採用蜆作為主要的表達媒介，希望可以推廣花蓮的好水質同時宣揚我們環保的概念。
而實作的部分分別是兩本書，以及手工的蜆粉紙、種植紙盆栽套裝，首先是書本的部分：我們兩本書分別介紹花蓮的水質與黃金蜆的背景，另一本則是介紹花蓮的山脈以及在地的花卉。
種植紙盆栽套裝的內容物分別有我們的手工紙、種子、以及泥土，操作的部分是把手工紙摺成盆栽的形狀，再倒入泥土，把裝載著種子的小袋直接塞進泥土裡面，紙張能為他的生根發芽持續提供養分。
而手工蜆粉紙方面我們是使用紙漿混合蜆粉製作而成，我們的進一步發想是能直接用我們的紙張代替泥土去讓花苗作生長。
這個專題也呼應 聯合國永續發展目標 SDGs 第15項陸域生態。
我們希望自然資源也能透過設計重新被賦予生命，傳遞「生態共生、環境循環」的價值。

CLAM BLOOM

In Hualien’s Shoufeng Township, the abundance of Golden Clams results in mountains of discarded shells. These shells are rich in calcium carbonate, a natural element that promotes seed germination. Our project aims to return these resources to the earth, embodying the cycle of "from nature, to nature."
The Implementation:Two-Volume Book Set: Explores the relationship between Hualien’s mountains, indigenous flowers, and the heritage of its water and clams.
Planting Kit: Features Handmade Clam-Powder Paper crafted from pulp and shell powder. Users fold the paper into a pot, add soil, and plant the seeds. The paper acts as a nutrient source, and our vision is to eventually have the paper fully replace soil as a growth medium.
This project aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 15 (Life on Land). Through design, we breathe new life into natural resources, communicating the values of "Ecological Symbiosis and Environmental Circulation."
