「I Need The Phone」
Project Title: I Need The Phone
“I Need The Phone” brings abstract addiction to life through two original characters—Tyler the Zombie and Dr. Smart. By transforming psychological concepts into a toolkit focused on visual translation and physical interaction, the project utilizes animation, pop-up books, and reversible posters to dramatize symptoms, allowing children to intuitively grasp the consequences of excessive screen time. By pitting sensory-based play against virtual screens, the project guides families toward naturally establishing healthy digital habits.
Pop-up Book: Uses "flip-and-pull" mechanics to counter flat screens, including a Parent’s Guide on addiction triggers.
Interactive Posters: A "Warning vs. Solution" design that turns symptoms into games, helping families build healthy digital habits together.
Animation: American-style cartoons using 1st-person storytelling to make complex psychological concepts relatable for kids.
