“Incognito Mode” explores the invisible yet real emotional harm in digital environments. Many forms of online harm leave no visible traces, yet persist over time. Focusing on online fraud, cyber sexual violence, and cyberbullying, the project examines how these issues form interconnected structures rather than isolated events.
These wounds accumulate through everyday actions such as scrolling, reading, and sharing, often spreading unnoticed. “Incognito” serves as a metaphor for their concealed yet enduring nature.
Through zines and newspapers, combined with material and print techniques, the project transforms intangible harm into perceptible reading experiences. Translucent materials suggest hidden damage, while tearing and scratching represent irreversible processes, turning reading into participation.
Rather than offering solutions, the project builds awareness of how harm forms and spreads, encouraging reflection on one’s position and fostering more conscious future actions.
