本研究創作以高雄六個濕地的候鳥為核心，探討近年來台灣作為候鳥過冬重要棲地，卻面臨數量銳減的生態危機。候鳥的減少不僅反映全球氣候變遷與人類活動對生態環境的影響，也突顯濕地保育的迫切性。本團隊選定茄萣濕地、永安濕地、烏松濕地、大樹人工濕地、半屏湖濕地與鳳山水庫作為研究創作區域，透過深入調查這些濕地的生態特徵、候鳥現況與相關環境挑戰，強調濕地保育對生物多樣性的貢獻（SDGs15 保育陸域生態）。
本研究創作會做出六本濕地的導覽手冊，因為往往去到一個地方都會需要一本導覽手冊，讓遊客了解到本身個地方的設施、歷史，本創作團隊會在導覽手冊內部增加收集郵票功能，呈現出跟過往的傳統導覽手冊不一樣的形式，讓遊客在互動過程中加深對候鳥與濕地保育議題的認識，進而提升公眾對生態永續的關注與參與以及讓消費者有不同的體驗跟樂趣。

Waiting – Kaohsiung Migratory Bird

This research and creative project centers on the migratory birds inhabiting six wetlands in Kaohsiung, exploring the ecological crisis of declining bird populations in Taiwan—an important wintering habitat for migratory species in recent years. The decrease in migratory birds not only reflects the impacts of global climate change and human activities on ecological environments but also highlights the urgent need for wetland conservation.
Our team has selected Qieding Wetland, Yong’an Wetland, Wusong Wetland, Dashu Artificial Wetland, Banping Lake Wetland, and Fengshan Reservoir as key areas for research and creative development. Through in-depth investigations into the ecological characteristics of these wetlands, the current status of migratory birds, and related environmental challenges, this project emphasizes the vital role of wetland conservation in maintaining biodiversity, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land.
As part of this project, we will create six wetland guidebooks. Visitors often need a guidebook to understand the facilities and history of a place, and our team aims to go beyond traditional formats. Each guidebook will include an interactive stamp collection feature, offering visitors a unique and engaging experience. Through this interactive process, visitors can deepen their understanding of migratory birds and wetland conservation issues, ultimately raising public awareness and participation in ecological sustainability while providing a fun and memorable experience.
