This project explores the beauty, ecological value, and conservation of ladybugs through diverse visual formats. While admired for their colorful appearance, their role in controlling pests and maintaining ecological balance is often overlooked, especially as pesticide use impacts the environment and human health. The project presents information in an engaging way. The field guide introduces basic knowledge and 36 endemic Taiwanese species, while a flip animation shows the fading of their black spots due to global warming, highlighting their role as environmental indicators. An action guide encourages real-life observation, posters showcase pattern diversity through geometric design, and 3D model cards invite hands-on interaction.
Through these approaches, the project helps people rediscover ladybugs, appreciate their beauty, and build awareness of environmental conservation.
