This fashion series takes “Maka Baka Aka Waka” as its conceptual starting point, transforming it into a symbolic “bedtime spell” that exists between innocence and reality. The inspiration comes from those fleeting moments at night when people release their daily pressures and return to a more authentic state of self—holding a doll, whispering softly, and drifting in a liminal space between wakefulness and sleep. Within this in-between state, a subtle tension emerges: one that is both soothing and slightly disordered, like a quiet emotional unraveling.
The seven looks presented in the back embody this atmosphere through the use of soft materials and enveloping silhouettes. Drawing from pajamas, loungewear, and childlike elements, the designs exaggerate proportions and distort structures to evoke a surreal, dreamlike quality. The garments feel protective yet fragile, as if they exist within a private emotional cocoon.
