An "oasis" is like a beacon in a barren desert, allowing passing merchants and people to pause and prepare for their next journey. Similarly, a resting space where people can escape reality is needed in the noisy and chaotic city.
In recent years, urban development has been intensive, but due to Taiwan's limited land and dense population, people have long lived in high-rise buildings. The urban landscape is a tapestry of reinforced concrete and metal sheets, making daily life increasingly monotonous and oppressive. Faced with the complexities and heavy pressures of life, there are no good solutions and no outlet for release. Parks and green spaces are important spaces for modern people to relax and unwind, but Taiwan's proportion of parkland and green space is significantly insufficient compared to other developed countries. Residents' lifestyles and the future development of the land are also important factors influencing this.
