With technological advancement, entertainment has shifted indoors, reducing interaction with public spaces and others, often causing social disconnection. Electronic games, following predefined rules and goals, limit free exploration, creativity, and improvisation, turning play into screen-based experiences.
This design promotes a shift from Me to We. Interactive installations in public parks encourage people to go outdoors, engage with others, and rediscover playful interaction. Using simple mechanical principles and intuitive operation, the installations allow users to create their own rules, explore varied play patterns, and co-create unpredictable outcomes. Through repeated participation and immediate feedback, the installations restore play to its open, shared essence, transforming solitary digital experiences into collaborative real-world interactions and reviving the joy of playing together.
