自然而「然」 人造與自然之間-中山路五（三）連棟街屋改造計畫

本計畫以中山路連棟街屋為基地，重新思考高度人為控制的都市環境中，自然如何重新介入既有建築。原有街屋多為狹長、封閉且以機能為導向的空間型態，使室內外及人造與自然之間形成明確且僵固的界線，限制了環境流動與感知的可能性。本設計試圖鬆動此種關係，透過「打開、滲透與重疊」等策略對空間進行轉化：打開部分立面與屋頂，引入光、風與植栽，使室內外的感知更加連續；利用孔洞、縫隙與半室外空間，使內外邊界逐漸模糊，讓自然條件緩緩滲入生活場域。同時，透過空間層次的重疊與交錯，自然與日常生活相互交織，形成非單一功能導向、富有彈性的使用狀態。最終，空間由封閉且固定的容器轉變為持續變動的場域，自然成為可感知、可參與並隨時間變化的空間元素，塑造介於人造與自然之間的柔性過渡狀態，營造出一種動態且富有生命力的居住環境。

Naturally “Thus”: Transformation of Row Houses on Zhongshan Rd., 5 ( 3) — Mediating Between the Artificial and the Natural

The project is based on the row houses along Zhongshan Road, exploring how nature can re-enter existing architecture within a controlled urban environment. The original houses are long, narrow, and enclosed, with layouts that create rigid boundaries between interior and exterior, and between the artificial and the natural. Through strategies of “opening, infiltration, and layering,” portions of the façade and roof are opened to bring in light, air, and vegetation, while voids, gaps, and semi-outdoor spaces blur these boundaries. Layered spatial arrangements integrate natural elements with daily life, creating flexible, non–function-driven usage. The space transforms from a fixed container into a continuously changing environment, where nature becomes perceivable and participatory, shaping a transitional state between the artificial and the natural.
