Urban Algae Cooling Module (UACM) is a modular bio-system designed to mitigate the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect in high-density cities. By bridging the gap between industrial infrastructure and natural ecosystems, UACM offers a "breathing interface" for the concrete jungle.
The core technology integrates algae-based carbon capture with passive evaporative cooling. Through photosynthesis, the live microalgae within the modules absorb CO2 and release oxygen, acting as an "urban lung." Simultaneously, the fluid circulation and specialized geometric surfaces facilitate wind-flow induction and heat dissipation, creating a significantly cooler micro-climate for public spaces.
Designed with modular flexibility, UACM can be seamlessly integrated into bus shelters, park fences, or building facades. It transforms passive structures into active, carbon-neutral assets, providing a resilient and aesthetic solution for future climate adaptation and sustainable urban living.
