本作品以結合光影投射與手繪表現為主的繪本形式，透過柔和的色彩與光影變化，描繪一段關於記憶與陪伴的故事。主角是一隻只有如三秒短暫記憶的小魚，以及始終陪伴在他身邊的倉鼠。小魚在旅途中不斷遺忘所經歷的一切，包括走過的風景及曾經相遇的倉鼠，每一次的遺忘都讓他彷彿重新開始。然而，倉鼠並未因此離開，而是以溫柔與耐心回應小魚一次又一次如初見般的相遇，默默守護在他身邊。

在視覺表現上，作品運用光影折射、透明材質與畫面層疊，使影像產生漂移與閃爍的效果，如同記憶殘影般若隱若現，強化觀者對時間流動的感知。翻頁動作亦成為一種時間裝置，讓觀看者在參與中體驗記憶被不斷覆寫與重置的過程。作品進一步提出對記憶與情感關係的思考：當記憶無法被保留，情感是否仍能存在？透過倉鼠的持續陪伴，作品暗示情感並不依附於記憶本身，而是在反覆的相遇與回應之中被重塑成與確認。最終，作品以溫柔而詩意的方式，描繪出時間、記憶與陪伴之間微妙而深刻的連結。

Three Seconds of Forever

The work is combines light projection and hand-drawn illustration. The protagonists are a small fish with goldfish memory and a hamster who remains by its side. In the story, the fish continuously forgets everything it experiences, including the hamster. Yet, the hamster never leaves, responding with gentleness and patience to every first encounter.
In terms of visual expression, the work incorporates refraction of light, transparent materials, and layered imagery to create a drifting and flickering effect, resembling fading traces of memory. The act of turning pages also functions as a temporal device, allowing the audience to experience every moment forgotten.
The work further reflects on the relationship between memory and emotion: when memory cannot be retained, can emotions still exist? Through the hamster’s enduring companionship, it suggests that emotions do not rely solely on memory but are continually reformed and reaffirmed through repeated encounters and responses.
