節電小箱

設計理念與問題解決：
「EcoVault」是一項結合台電品牌意象與通用設計的「省電助手」。我們觀察到大眾在拔除低矮處插頭時，往往需要彎腰或費力拉扯，這對長輩或行動不便者極具挑戰。本設計轉化了台灣街頭常見的「台電變電箱」視覺元素，將其微縮化並賦予新的功能——透過內部槓桿結構，使用者只需輕輕踩踏或按壓，即可透過內在結構開關關閉電源，大幅提升使用便利性。

永續與循環經濟：
在材料應用上，EcoVault 實踐了循環設計。外殼計畫採用台電廢棄電纜皮回收塑料或木粉複合材料（WPC）製造，賦予廢棄物第二生命，並將量產成本控制在具競爭力的價格。

社會教育意義：
這不僅是一個延伸插座殼，更是一件居家美學裝飾。我們希望透過趣味化的造型，提醒使用者「離電省電」的重要性。讓節能教育從日常生活中的觸覺體驗開始，落實台電推廣能源轉型的品牌價值。

EcoVault

Design Concept and Solutions:
"EcoVault" is an "Energy-Saving Assistant" blending Taipower’s identity with universal design. To solve the strain of bending or pulling plugs from low outlets—difficult for the elderly—this design miniaturizes the "Taipower transformer box." With an internal lever, users press or kick the device to trigger a switch and cut power, enhancing convenience and safety.

Sustainability and Circular Economy:
EcoVault embodies circular design. The shell is made from recycled Taipower cable skins or Wood Plastic Composites (WPC), giving waste a "second life" while maintaining low mass-production costs.

Social and Educational Impact:
More than a socket cover, EcoVault is home decor. Its playful form reminds users to save energy. By integrating education into a tactile experience, the project reinforces Taipower’s commitment to energy transition.
