在雙線縮減為單線或視線受限的道路環境中,如山區道路、施工路段或狹窄巷道,駕駛人常難以即時判斷對向車輛的位置與通行順序,容易產生猶豫與誤判,進而引發搶道、壅塞甚至碰撞事故。現有道路設施多仰賴反光鏡或交通號誌,於夜間或惡劣天候下效果有限,且缺乏一種直覺且即時的提示機制。
本設計提出一套安裝於護欄外側的「被動式光纖禮讓提示系統」,以車輛前燈作為輸入訊號,透過護欄內部的光學接收模組與光纖導光結構,將光訊號轉化為清晰的通行提示。當車輛接近時,車燈照射至接收器,光線經由光纖傳導,使對向端的警示燈即時亮起,明確傳達「誰先到、誰先行」的資訊,引導對向駕駛主動減速禮讓。
此系統無需外部電力與複雜設備,僅依賴車燈即可運作,具備低成本、易部署與高可靠性的特性,適用於偏遠地區或臨時道路環境。透過將光轉化為道路語言,本設計使傳統護欄由被動防護轉變為主動溝通介面,在不改變駕駛習慣的前提下,有效提升行車安全與道路效率。
On roads where two lanes merge into one or where visibility is poor, drivers often struggle to judge the position and priority of oncoming vehicles. This leads to conflicts, congestion, or even accidents. Current road systems lack a quick and intuitive way to indicate which vehicle should go first. A passive fiber-optic courtesy signaling system mounted on the roadside guardrail. It uses vehicle headlights as the input signal, with receivers and warning lights on the guardrail to indicate which side has the right of way, helping drivers make quick and clear decisions.As a vehicle approaches, its headlights shine on the central receiver of the guardrail. Inside the receiver, optical fibers transmit the light signal, causing the corresponding red warning light to illuminate immediately. This indicates that the approaching vehicle has the right of way, prompting the opposing driver to slow down and yield, preventing conflicts or misjudgments.
