“Hold” represents both control and the pure instinct of a newborn’s grasp.
The film begins with a dreamlike sequence that runs throughout. From flowers growing in the character’s hands as a child to controlling trees and multiple suns as an adult, the world becomes overwhelming. In the end, everything collapses, returning to a simple, original state.
Growing up is a constant shift between balance and imbalance. As we take on different roles, we can feel lost and forget what truly matters.
Hands, branches, and light expand outward from a single point, symbolizing growth and distance from the center. This reflects a longing for simplicity and the childhood self.
Visually, the film embraces human imperfections through visible brushstrokes, raw textures, and handheld movement, expressing inner chaos and a hand-crafted quality.
