In the hustle and bustle of daily life, the little details on the streets are often overlooked and gradually forgotten. Inspired by Taiwan's iconic "Little Green Man" pedestrian signal, this work tells the story of a brief encounter between the Little Green and the Little Red. Through this fleeting moment, we hope to awaken people's sensitivity to the subtleties of everyday life, encouraging them to slow down and savor the faint glimmers of warmth hidden in the details.
This work is presented in 3D animation, utilizing NPR (Non-Photorealistic Rendering) techniques to create a soft color palette and stylized textures, infusing the visuals with vitality and emotional fluidity. Additionally, the scene design draws from Taiwanese streetscapes, including familiar traffic signals, street atmospheres, and architectural details, evoking a sense of visual resonance and unique urban memories for the audience.
The animation conveys emotions through delicate character movements and lighting changes. As the traffic signals alternate, the Little Green Man and the Little Red Man meet, gaze at each other, and part ways within mere seconds, mirroring the countless brief yet profound encounters in the city. Through this work, we aim to guide viewers to slow down, rediscover the overlooked beautiful moments, and find a touch of emotion in their daily routines.
