蚊蟲，是一種從恐龍時代便活躍至今的生物，隨著全球氣候暖化，蚊蟲來勢洶洶。我們所生活的臺灣，屬於亞熱帶氣候國家，近年來登革熱疫情逐漸攀升，蚊蟲的防治，一直是生活中不可忽視的議題。本教具旨在為國小師生打造一組輕鬆瞭解蚊蟲知識的特色教具，以「蚊蟲探險家」作為核心風格，並搭配多種媒材製作，強化教具整體互動性，例如：每本教育手冊中，皆置入不同的互動機關，並搭配呼籲蚊蟲習性的特殊油墨；結合木片雷射切割的使用與滴膠灌模，打造可隨時進行觀察的行動式蚊蟲標本台；鼓勵學童自行補捉蚊蟲製作專屬標本之手作材料包，還有木頭材質的蚊蟲身體結構分解印章等。望透過多元的互動體驗，強化手作與探索，提高學習動機，藉此啟發學童對於環境衛生議題的關注及責任感，望人人都有機會成為「蚊學家」，共同打造更健康的生活環境。
