在這廣袤的世界中，我們因藝術而相聚，如同雨滴落如無垠之海，靈魂彼此漣漪交織，一同在共鳴中綻放光芒，妹島和世說到：「只有創造能讓人們聚在一起的地方，城市才會變得更加有趣。」

歷史塵封的舊倉庫「香蕉棚」，承載著時光的痕跡，因藝術的甦醒而重獲新生，創意不斷湧現。新舊交融的碰撞矛盾中，我們將空間作為展演、影廳、餐飲空間，在動態與靜態展演的衝突相互交織，激盪出蓬勃的生命力，並孕育出嶄新的常民聚所。

藝文生活館公園化，將藝術空間與外環境融合，一樓設計為開放空間，以促進空氣流通，確保良好的通風效果，二樓樓板進行挑空處理，創造出開放且通透的視覺效果，增強空間連貫與通風性，屋頂層則局部開孔，控制自然光的引入，創造出既能感受藝術氛圍又能親近自然的公共場所，人們能自由穿梭於此，而歷史建築原有的列柱如同樹林，不僅支撐著建築結構，還營造出一種自然與人工交織的氛圍，走向緩坡讓人彷彿置身於樹影婆娑的林間。在這裡，展覽不僅限於室內的牆壁與畫作，展演不只是在室內的舞台，而是延伸至開放的戶外，讓常民能夠找到自己的展演舞台，讓觀眾在這個場域中漫步、駐足、停留，讓空間能在衝突與矛盾之間產生新的火花，並體驗藝術與環境的和諧交融。

The place of dance and melody of the tide

In this vast world, we are brought together by art, like raindrops falling into the boundless sea, our souls rippling and intertwining, blooming together in resonance. As Kazuyo Sejima once said, “Only through creation can people gather, and that’s when a city becomes more interesting.”

The old warehouse, “Banana Shed,” which has been sealed by history, bears the marks of time, but it is reborn through the awakening of art, with creativity constantly emerging. In the clash and contradiction of old and new, we have transformed the space into a performance venue, theater, and dining area. The dynamic and static performances intertwine, sparking vibrant energy and giving birth to a new gathering place for the common people.

The cultural and artistic life center is designed as a park, blending the art space with the surrounding environment. The first floor is designed as an open space to promote air circulation and ensure good ventilation. The second floor features a vaulted ceiling to create an open and transparent visual effect, enhancing spatial continuity and ventilation. The roof is partially perforated to control the entry of natural light, creating a public space that not only allows one to feel the artistic atmosphere but also be close to nature. People can freely move through this space, where the original columns of the historical building resemble a forest, supporting the structure while creating an atmosphere where nature and the artificial intertwine. The gentle slope makes one feel as though walking in a forest with swaying trees. Here, exhibitions are not confined to the walls and paintings of the indoor space, and performances extend beyond the indoor stage to the open outdoors, allowing the public to find their own stage. Viewers can stroll, pause, and linger in this space, where the space generates new sparks between conflict and contradiction, offering a harmonious blend of art and environment.
