約莫黃昏的時刻，夕陽柔和的光芒透過屋子的缝隙投射在街道上，為大地披上一層金色的神秘氛圍。一道黑影浮現，老人孤獨地坐在家門口，凝視著遠方，他的眼神中流露著無奈和孤獨。在他眼中，街上熙來攘往的人群裡，每個人都像是一道風景，卻再也找不回曾經的陪伴與溫暖。 或許多年前，當他還年輕的時候，也曾夢想過退休後能與家人一起享受天倫之樂，過著幸福美滿的生活。然而，現實卻像一記冷酷的掌摑，將夢想打散，留下的只有無奈和孤獨。年輕人忙著自己的生活，不願與長輩同住，卻又因距離而難以常回家盼望父母，漸漸地，親情在日常的忙碌中被遺忘。這種距離讓家庭的溫暖與陪伴漸行漸遠，老年人的孤單與無助漸漸深入心底，只能與孤獨為伴。
見到這些長輩的遺憾，於是我們想設計一棟三代同堂的拼棟建築，不僅能夠有自己獨立的生活空間，閒暇之餘或下班回家時，還能夠彼此關心與照料，家庭間的互動也不會因為距離而漸行漸遠。

Around dusk, the soft glow of the setting sun filters through the gaps in the house, casting a golden, mysterious atmosphere over the street. A shadow appears, and an elderly man sits alone at his doorstep, gazing into the distance. His eyes reflect a sense of helplessness and loneliness. In his eyes, the bustling crowd on the street seems like a scene from a painting, yet he can no longer find the companionship and warmth that once existed.

Perhaps many years ago, when he was still young, he had dreamed of enjoying family time after retirement, living a happy and fulfilling life. However, reality, like a cold slap, shattered those dreams, leaving only helplessness and loneliness. The younger generation is busy with their own lives and unwilling to live with their elders. Due to the distance, they find it difficult to visit often, and over time, familial bonds are forgotten in the busyness of daily life. This distance causes the warmth and companionship of family to drift further away, and the loneliness and helplessness of the elderly gradually deepen in their hearts, leaving them with only solitude as a companion.

Seeing the regrets of these elders, we are inspired to design a multi-generational townhouse that not only provides independent living spaces but also allows family members to care for and look out for each other during leisure time or after work. Family interactions will not fade due to distance, ensuring that the bonds of family remain close.
