故事開始⾚星在看有關疑是狐神出現的探險影⽚，在看過影⽚後作為直播主的⾚星決定前往神社查看都市傳說的真相。
到神社後⾚星就⼀邊拍攝⼀邊尋找「狐神」的存在，但直到天⿊也沒找到任何⾜跡。 ⽽在⾚星準備離開時聽到⾝後有聲⾳，轉⾝看⾒⼀個⿊影就追了上去。在追逐的過程中周圍的氣氛變得詭異，迎接他的卻是充滿熱鬧的地⽅。 ⾚星來到了妖怪世界，在意識到這件事後⾚星便躲起來繼續拍攝。
隨後狐神現⾝，在了解過⾚星的情況後，狐神便好⼼勸導⾚星把妖怪世界的影片刪除同時送他回去，但⾚星不情願還試圖逃跑，最後被狐神⽤妖術困住。
最後狐神再三勸導也無果，便把⾚星變成狐狸懲罰他同時留在他底下⼯作和反省⾃⼰的過錯,同時也保了妖怪們的平靜的生活。

Phantoms Fantasy

This is a story about a curious and adventurous live streamer, Akaboshi. He opens this story by watching an ancient documentary, which is about a purported sighting of the Fox God, a strong god believed to reside in a remote shrine. He was intrigued by this legend and decided to visit the shrine; he believed that he could learn the truth about the urban myth and get unique footage for his audience during this visit.

Akaboshi arrived at the shrine as darkness fell; he started to record while cautiously looking for any indications of the Fox God. Unfortunately, he was disappointed because he found nothing unusual despite already putting in his best effort. When he is about to depart, a sudden noise startles him. He turned around immediately and saw a shadowy figure vanishing into the trees. Curiosity compelled, he instantly pursued.

The farther he goes, the more strange his surroundings; the once-calm shrine starts to change, and the air becomes heavy with an uncanny presence. Before he realized it, the surroundings had transformed into a bustling realm teeming with yokai. Akaboshi finally realizes that he has stumbled into something well beyond his comprehension. However, Akaboshi wants to know the truth, so he continues the recording while hiding.

During the recording, he is confronted by the Fox God, who emanates strength and knowledge. When the deity discovers Akaboshi's predicament, he calmly counsels to remove his video since revealing the youkai world might disrupt its delicate equilibrium. However, Akaboshi ignored the caution and attempted to flee. As he acts defiantly despite numerous cautions, the Fox God responds by ensnaring him with magic.

To punish and teach Akaboshi, the Fox God turns Akaboshi into a fox and makes him stay to work under its direction. By forcing Akaboshi to think about his reckless actions, the Fox god successfully maintains harmony and secrecy in Youkai's world.
