《觀靈》是一部融合民俗文化與傳統技藝的動畫作品，時長約五分鐘。動畫運用皮影戲風格與2D藝術表現，使《觀靈》在視覺上獨樹一幟，展現出與主流市場截然不同的藝術魅力。透過獨特的藝術形式，我們希望能夠觸動觀眾的心靈，讓每一幀畫面都承載故事，傳遞傳統文化的深邃之美。
而故事內容為主角阿德因思念已故的阿嬤，在熟識的廟公協助下進入了觀落陰世界。在只有一炷香的時間內，紙紮人作為嚮導，帶領阿德探索著神秘的彼岸世界，最終讓阿德與阿嬤再次重逢。祖孫開心地訴說著彼此的思念、問候，但在時間有限下，最終他們仍不得不再次離別並回到屬於自己的地方……。

We are deeply fascinated by the traditional craft of shadow puppetry. However, as this art form is facing the imminent risk of extinction, we hope to breathe new life into it by combining modern technology with traditional artistry. By doing so, we aim to open up new forms of expression and possibilities, ensuring the preservation and promotion of this unique art, and bringing it back into the spotlight. Shadow puppetry is not only a performance art but also a traditional craft that carries rich cultural heritage, recording the stories and aesthetics of the past. We hope that through innovative methods, more people will rediscover the unique beauty of shadow puppetry and experience the artistic charm created by the fusion of tradition and modernity.
Guan Ling is an animated work that combines folk culture and traditional craftsmanship, with a runtime of approximately five minutes. The animation uses a shadow puppetry style combined with 2D art to create a visually unique experience, showcasing an artistic charm that is distinctly different from the mainstream market. Through this unique artistic form, we hope to touch the hearts of the audience, ensuring that each frame carries a story and conveys the profound beauty of traditional culture.
The story follows the protagonist, Ah-De, who, longing for his late grandmother, enters the world of Guān Luò Yīn (a Taoist ritual for contacting the afterlife) with the help of a familiar temple keeper. With only the time it takes for a single incense stick to burn, a paper effigy serves as a guide, leading Ah-De on a journey through the mysterious realm of the afterlife. Eventually, Ah-De is reunited with his grandmother, and they joyfully exchange their thoughts, greetings, and expressions of longing. However, with time running out, they must once again part ways and return to their respective places...
