Flow Of Light

《循光》是一款融合竹編工藝與燈具設計的作品,透過傳統工藝技術的巧妙運用,將天然竹材的質樸與堅韌融入創作之中,展現細膩而自然的質感。
設計靈感來自追逐目標過程中的自我探索與成長歷程,竹材的溫潤質感與層層堆疊的象徵意涵,映照每個人內在的生命故事,讓人在日常使用中,感受探索、突破與重生的歷程,從懷抱初心出發,經歷困難與自我對話,最終找到心靈的平衡與共鳴。

造型以沙漏的方式呈現並加入可旋轉的結構,讓使用者可以自由調整燈具的角度,賦予其更多互動性與情感投射。竹編在旋轉時,象徵時間的流動與生命歷程,五層結構設計有「節節高升」的涵義,呼應成長歷程與心靈蛻變的過程。竹編表面運用六角編法並加入菊花編的穿花手法,分別象徵秩序初心與轉變妥協,讓傳統工藝的手感語言成為情感表達的媒介。

Flow Of Light

"Flow of Light" is a lighting design that integrates traditional bamboo weaving craftsmanship with modern design concepts. Through the skillful application of traditional techniques, the design blends the natural simplicity and resilience of bamboo into the creation, presenting a delicate and organic texture.

The design is inspired by the journey of self-exploration and personal growth in the pursuit of one’s goals. The warm texture of bamboo, combined with its layered structure, reflects each individual's inner life story. As users interact with the lamp in their daily lives, they experience a process of exploration, breakthrough, and rebirth — starting with a passionate heart, facing challenges and self-reflection, and eventually finding balance and inner resonance.

The form takes the shape of an hourglass and incorporates a rotating structure, allowing users to freely adjust the angle of the lamp, adding layers of interaction and emotional projection. As the bamboo weave rotates, it symbolizes the flow of time and the journey of life. The five-tiered structure embodies the idea of "continuous growth," echoing the process of personal development and spiritual transformation. The bamboo weaving technique combines hexagonal weaving to represent order and original intention, while adding a floral weaving technique (Chrysanthemum Weave) to symbolize transformation and compromise — allowing the tactile language of traditional craftsmanship to become a carrier of emotional expression.
