現今社會因為少子化與高齡化的關係,飼養貓已是人類重要的陪伴來源,透過自身養貓的經驗,不斷研究貓的日常生活,發現除了飲食需求外,飼主忙碌、居住空間等因素會導致貓咪有許多需求沒有被滿足,把貓當成家人的我們,決定從日常飲食切入,發現市面上的飼料包裝較少為貓本身設計。透過研究貓的基因、身體、喜好,將貓的日常五感融入包裝,讓飼料包裝能重複利用也能同時滿足貓的安全感、狩獵天性、領地特質與好奇心。
以讓貓開啟包裝飲食為目的,盤點貓4種常見的動作融入包裝結構,將包裝貼合貓增加實用性,並以結構特性將包裝區分為四個系列 拍、咬、抓、蹭共12款能滿足貓咪不同需求的飼料包裝,加入吸引貓五感的元素、植物油墨與對貓無害的結構,整體具高貼合度與多功能性,給予貓多面向的精神滿足,並加深人與貓之間的情感
With declining birth rates and an aging population, cats have become an essential source of companionship for humans. Drawing from our own experience as cat owners, we have studied their daily lives and found that, beyond dietary needs, factors like busy owners and limited living spaces often leave many of their needs unmet. Treating cats as family, we decided to start with their daily diet and realized that most pet food packaging on the market is not designed with cats in mind. Through research on feline genetics, physiology, and preferences, we incorporated the five senses of cats into our packaging, making it reusable while also addressing their sense of security, hunting instincts, territorial traits, and curiosity.
Our design aims to let cats open the packaging themselves by integrating four common feline behaviors into the structure. We developed four series—Slap, Bite, Scratch, and Rub—featuring 12 variations that cater to different needs. By incorporating sensory stimuli, plant-based inks, and cat-safe structural elements, our packaging enhances engagement, fulfills multiple feline instincts, and strengthens the emotional bond between cats and their owners.
