現代社會隨著城市擴張帶來便利，卻改變了社區結構，導致自然空間逐漸消失，戶外活動減少，鄰里互動變得疏離，人們逐漸失去過去珍貴的情感連結與自然共生的和諧關係，卻也缺少了人與人之間的溫度與歸屬感。希望透過信仰成為連結人心的橋樑，讓彼此之間再次建立深厚的連結與關愛。
　　然而，信仰不僅是個人精神的寄託，更能成為凝聚社區群體的力量。透過禮拜、聚會與社區活動，村民在信仰的連結下重新建立交流與信任，找回久違的溫情與歸屬感，使這片土地再次充滿生機。
　　本設計以信仰為核心，結合教會經文與碎形理論，打造一座被森林環繞的教堂，讓空間成為人與人、人與自然相互交融的樞紐。設計涵蓋室內外聚會場域，營造既靜謐又充滿互動的環境。人們可在此停留、對話、沉思，透過信仰找回內在的平靜，並重新建立與社區及自然的連結。
　　設計初衷不僅是打造一座教堂，更是想打造一個能夠促進交流、修復情感、凝聚社群的場所。透過信仰，人們在這片土地上重新建立彼此的關懷與信任，讓過山村重現生機，成為一個充滿愛與希望的社區。

The Nexus of Tranquility – Guided by light, connecting neighborhoods and harmonizing with nature

As cities expand and modern society progresses, the convenience of urbanization comes at a cost. While infrastructure and technology improve daily life, they also reshape community structures, increasing population mobility and accelerating the pace of life. Natural spaces gradually disappear, outdoor activities decline, and interactions between neighbors become distant. Over time, people lose the emotional connections that once bound them together, as well as the harmonious relationship with nature that was once an integral part of daily life. Although modern living offers efficiency, it often lacks warmth, human connection, and a sense of belonging.
In response to this growing disconnection, this project seeks to use faith as a bridge that reconnects people with one another and their environment. Faith is not only a source of personal spiritual solace but also a force that unites communities. Through worship, gatherings, and communal activities, faith helps restore trust and communication among residents. It allows people to rediscover a sense of warmth, togetherness, and emotional security, breathing new life into communities that have become cold and fragmented.
This design takes faith as its foundation, integrating biblical scriptures with fractal theory to create a church embraced by the forest—an architectural and spiritual hub where people and nature coexist in harmony. The design incorporates both indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, fostering an atmosphere that is both tranquil and interactive. Here, individuals can pause, reflect, and engage in meaningful dialogue, using faith as a means to rediscover inner peace while rebuilding their connection with their community and the natural world.
Beyond constructing a place of worship, this project aspires to create a space that fosters interaction, emotional healing, and social cohesion. Through faith, people can rekindle their sense of care, trust, and solidarity, bringing new vitality to Guoshan Village and transforming it into a community filled with love, hope, and a renewed sense of unity.
