本作品提取四大城門及標誌性建築的元素，轉化為層層交織的藝術紋樣，以細緻線條呈現歷史軌跡，使其成為承載城市記憶的載體。同時，創作不僅是視覺藝術，更是一場靜心體驗，讓觀者透過筆觸感受文化的深度連結。
主題的核心精神在於「慢」與「感受」。 在都市快速變遷的節奏中，禪繞畫引導觀者放慢腳步，一筆一畫勾勒建築輪廓，體會歷史與當下的交融。為了更完整呈現建築之美，作品特別結合紙雕藝術，將禪繞畫的線條與紋理立體化，層層堆疊出建築細節的獨特韻味。紙雕可輕鬆取下，讓觀者能從不同角度欣賞，在光影變化間感受建築紋路的獨特韻律，營造沉浸式的視覺體驗。

"Painting Taipei Anew" conveys a dual meaning through the idea of "reunion" — not only by reinterpreting Taipei’s historic architecture through Zentangle art, bringing past memories back to life, but also by symbolizing an emotional reconnection with the city, paying tribute to its historical splendor and extending its vitality through artistic expression.

This project draws inspiration from the four main city gates and iconic buildings of Taipei, transforming their architectural elements into intricate, interwoven patterns. Through delicate lines, it traces the city’s historical footprint, turning these designs into carriers of collective memory. More than just visual art, this creation offers a meditative experience, inviting viewers to feel a profound cultural connection through every stroke.

At its core, the project emphasizes the spirit of "slowing down" and "sensing." In a fast-paced urban environment, Zentangle art encourages viewers to take a step back, slow their pace, and outline architectural forms one stroke at a time — experiencing the fusion of history and the present moment. To further highlight the beauty of these buildings, the project incorporates papercutting art, adding depth and texture to the Zentangle patterns. The layered carvings enhance architectural details, creating a three-dimensional effect. The removable papercut pieces allow viewers to appreciate the work from multiple angles, where shifting light and shadow reveal the unique rhythm of each design, creating an immersive visual experience.

Additionally, the project includes interactive elements like hand-drawn sketchbooks and experience booklets, inviting the audience to become participants rather than just observers.
