The story centers around 9-year-old Alina, a 9-year-old girl bedridden due to cancer, unable to play freely like other children. Through her mother’s stories of youthful adventures, she paints a world of her own in her mind. As the stories unfold, Alina’s imagination expands—she is no longer just a child confined to her bed but an explorer on an epic journey through deserts, oases, forests, and the legendary Tree of Life.

Beyond Being is a film that explores the boundaries between the human spirit and the physical body. Told entirely from Alina’s perspective, this fictional story we created conveys that "even when the body is confined, the mind and love remain free."
