Witches are often portrayed as villains in fairy tales, but are they truly evil? Or are they simply different from the world’s values, misunderstood as villains? In this film, the castle symbolizes power and control, yet it also represents isolation and loneliness. The witch possesses immense magical power, but because of this, she is feared and rejected by society, ultimately forced to live alone in her castle, becoming the archetypal “villain” in fairy tales. But the real question is—how did these villainous images come to be?

The film incorporates classic elements associated with fairy tale villains, including dark forests, castles, magic mirrors, ravens, spells, thrones, spiral staircases, cauldrons, and poisoned apples. Through carefully crafted visuals and atmosphere, the audience is led to revisit these iconic symbols of villainy and question: why are these elements seen as “evil”? Are we simply judging good and evil based on preconceived notions?

Using cinematic camera movements, the film employs a shaky, immersive perspective to simulate the experience of walking through the castle, making the audience feel as though they have stepped into this enchanted yet ominous space.
