野生動物保育是當代重要課題。根據國際自然保護聯盟（IUCN）報告，全球超過42,000種物種瀕危，主要因棲地破壞、人為干擾及保育觀念不足。在臺灣，臺灣黑熊因棲地縮減與非法捕獵，數量持續下降，被列為瀕危物種，成為保育象徵。

此外，每年數千隻野生動物因傷病需救援，但資源不足、人力短缺，使救援工作面臨挑戰。全臺四千多名獸醫師中，專職野生動物救援者不到25人，顯示社會關注仍不足。

貝兒大探險：臺灣黑熊保育計畫 是結合立體書與AR技術的互動教具，幫助兒童了解如何正確應對受傷動物，並認識救援團隊工作。透過遊戲化學習，培養兒童的保育意識與環境責任感。

Nature Guardian：Taiwan Wildlife Protection project

Wildlife conservation is one of the most critical issues of our time. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), over 42,000 species are currently listed as endangered, with many on the brink of extinction due to habitat destruction, human activities, and insufficient conservation awareness. In Taiwan, the Taiwan black bear, an endemic subspecies, exemplifies this crisis. Habitat loss and illegal hunting have caused its population to decline, leading to its classification as an endangered species. It has become one of the most significant symbols of wildlife conservation in Taiwan.
In addition, thousands of wild animals require rescue each year due to injuries and illnesses. However, rescue efforts face significant challenges due to limited resources, manpower shortages, and declining funding. Among the more than 4,000 veterinarians in Taiwan, fewer than 25 specialize in wildlife rescue, highlighting the lack of attention this critical issue receives from the community.
The “Nature Guardian: Taiwan Wildlife Protection Project” is a pop-up book integrated with AR technology, designed to promote wildlife conservation through interactive teaching aids. It helps children learn how to properly respond to injured wildlife and understand the role of rescue teams. Through a game-based learning approach, it encourages children to develop an emotional connection with wildlife, fostering conservation awareness, environmental protection, and a sense of responsibility.
