「手護棉」專為單手不便女性設計，讓她們在經期能獨立操作輕鬆應對生理期，提升生活品質與經期體驗。全程皆使用單手即可完成：更換時，先用單手撕起並捲起舊的手護棉(衛生棉)，再打開防展開貼紙，將舊的手護棉(衛生棉)黏貼好以防展開，即可丟棄。接著，從外出使用包中取出輔具，用單手打開並支撐內褲，再拿出手護棉(衛生棉)放置於大腿上。包裝設計為三層結構。首先，將手套入指套設計中，然後以嘴巴輔助撕開包裝，將手護棉黏貼於內褲上。接下來，撕起一半的側翼貼紙（與上層包裝整合設計），將手護棉的下半部黏貼於內褲上，隨後撕起上層包裝，翻下側翼並固定於內褲上，即完成手護棉的黏貼。最後，用單手將外出使用包收起即可。

Period Guardian - Universal Sanitary Pad Project

Many people with disabilities face challenges in daily life, and women with limited use of one hand experience even greater difficulties in menstrual hygiene. Traditional sanitary pads are not designed with their needs in mind, making it hard for them to change pads independently and often requiring assistance from others. One-handed operation also takes more time to complete basic hygiene routines, leading to a lack of privacy, autonomy, and convenience.

Period Guardian is specifically designed for women with limited hand mobility, allowing them to manage their periods independently and with ease, improving their quality of life and menstrual experience. The entire process can be completed with one hand:

To change the pad, first, peel off and roll up the used pad, secure it with the anti-unfold sticker, and dispose of it. Next, take out the assistive tool from the portable storage bag, use one hand to open and hold the underwear in place, then place the new pad on the thigh. Insert the hand into the finger sleeve design, tear open the packaging with the help of the mouth, and attach the pad to the underwear. Then, peel off the top layer of packaging (integrated with the wing sticker), fold down the wings, and secure them in place. Finally, fold up the portable storage bag using one hand.
