In the Flow Knowing Wate

自然與人的關係在時間的沖刷中逐漸改變,我以自身的成長環境為出發點,透過五百公尺的步行舒適尺度進行田野調查,在這樣的探索中,我發現了筏仔溪。筏仔溪承載著流域的記憶,我研究它的水文變遷與環境地貌的改變,試圖重新組構一個與環境對話的空間,探問人與水如何重新連結?

在這樣的基礎下,我希望透過【速度】創造不同的感受,讓人們慢下來,真正體驗水的流動與環境的變遷。因此,我提出了【泳道藝廊的計畫】—— 透過游泳的動作作為路徑,在這條動態的流線上植入不同的空間形式,使人與自然對話。當泳道成為路徑,自然環境即化為流動的畫作,兩岸與河的記憶在此重新再現與延續。

水掠過時間的肌理,雕刻出人文與環境層層遞變的痕跡。我循著流動的脈絡,在消逝與存留之間,觸摸水與人的親密界線。速度與環境交錯,空間在此生成、消融、再塑。逐流之形,映照溪流之意,讓水文的歷史與人的感知交織出嶄新的體驗。

The relationship between nature and humans shifts as time carves its course. Rooted in my own childhood landscape, I embarked on a field study within a comfortable walking scale of 500 meters. In this journey, I discovered Fadazi Creek— a river that carries the memory of its watershed. Through the study of its hydrology and evolving terrain, I seek to reconstruct a space for dialogue with the environment, questioning how humans and water may reconnect.

Within this foundation, I aim to evoke different sensations through speed, urging people to slow down and truly experience the flow of water and the transformation of the landscape. Thus, I propose the Swim Lane Gallery—a path shaped by movement, where swimming becomes the mode of passage, and along this fluid trajectory, spatial forms are embedded to foster a dialogue with nature. When the swimming lane becomes a pathway, the surrounding environment transforms into a living canvas, where the memories of the riverbanks and the stream itself are reawakened and continued.

Water glides over the textures of time, sculpting layers of cultural and environmental transformation. I follow the river’s pulse, tracing the delicate boundary between disappearance and permanence, between human presence and the water’s embrace. As speed and surroundings intertwine, space is formed, dissolved, and reshaped. The shifting currents reflect the essence of the stream, where the history of water and the perception of those who traverse it merge into a new and profound experience.
