《妖異》創作的出發點，是想把台灣本土文化將其融入，並想到妖怪這個題材，以台灣妖怪作為原型，並進行改編，是一部融合怪談、奇幻、動作的動畫。以主角家中是開宮廟為背景，並以接委託捉妖怪為展開，除了讓大家認識到妖怪外，也想讓大家對主角們的打鬥畫面驚嘆連連。敘述兩位主角在故事中，因為截然不同的性格所發生的一連串的事件，他們之間是如何合作解決事件是推動故事發展的核心。
故事大綱為貓將軍接到了建商的委託信，並讓楚神景跟祂一起去解決，但神景原定與女友去約會，因此拒絕，貓將軍秀出了神景沒錢的錢包，無奈之下，只好先去解決委託。 眼看跟女友約會的時間快到，於是便一開始就使用了強大的法力對付妖怪，然而卻沒有什麼效果，貓將軍為了保護被攻擊的神景，被妖怪傷到，神景見狀拿起符咒反擊，得知黑白虎神必須同時消滅，貓將軍回復後，上前與神景並肩作戰。
戰鬥後，平安的消滅兩隻妖怪，並趕往約會地點。 到了公園，發現女友等了很久因此而不開心，貓將軍出面幫神景解決，女友抱著貓將軍轉身離開，神景追上求原諒，最後還是合好一起離開。

Yaoyi

The starting point for the creation of "Yaoyi" was to integrate Taiwanese local culture into it, and thought of the theme of monsters. It used Taiwanese monsters as the prototype and adapted it. It is an animation that combines ghost stories, fantasy, and action. It is set in a palace and temple at the protagonist's home, and begins with a commission to catch monsters. In addition to making everyone aware of monsters, it also wants everyone to be amazed by the fight scenes between the protagonists. Narrating a series of events that occurred between the two protagonists in the story because of their completely different personalities, and how they cooperated to resolve the events is the core that promotes the development of the story.
The synopsis of the story is that General Cat received a letter of commission from the builder and asked CHU SHEN JING to go with him to solve the problem. However, Shen Jing was originally scheduled to go on a date with his girlfriend, so he refused. General Cat showed off She Jing's moneyless wallet. In desperation, he had to go and solve the commission first. Seeing that the date with his girlfriend was coming soon, he used powerful magic to deal with the monster from the beginning, but it had no effect. In order to protect the attacked Shen Jing, General Cat was injured by the monster. Shenjing saw this and picked up the talisman to fight back. He learned that the black and white tiger gods must be eliminated at the same time. After General Cat recovered, he stepped forward to fight alongside Shen Jing.
After the battle, the two monsters were eliminated and rushed to the meeting place. When they arrived at the park, Shen Jing found that his girlfriend was unhappy because she had been waiting for a long time. General Cat came forward to help Shen Jing solve the problem. His girlfriend hugged General Cat and turned to leave. Shen Jing caught up with her and begged for forgiveness, and finally they reconciled and left together.
