蜈蚣陣

「南瀛五大香」是台灣台南的傳統廟宇刈香活動，分別位於學甲區、麻豆區、佳里區、西港區和土城區等五個地區，在過程中有「蜈蚣陣」這項特殊的文化儀式活動，各個地區的蜈蚣陣也擁有著多樣的造型與意象，結合廟宇之間不同的宗教儀式及主祀神明，形成了如今獨特的「南瀛五大香」文化風貌。
為培養孩童在小學階段就能開始認識自身本土文化，團隊本次選定以「蜈蚣陣」 這項宗教文化為發展項目設計教具組。透過不同方式來了解蜈蚣陣這項極具特色的文化， 以落實鄉土藝術教育，加深文化認知的重要性。

The “Top Five Temples of Tainan” are the de-territorialization of traditional temples in Tainan, Taiwan, namely located in Xuejia District, Madou District, Jiali District, Xigang Distrct, and Tucheng District. The “centipede formation” of the process is a special cultural ritual while the centipede formations by district owns diversity of styles and image. The different religious rituals and gods enshrined between temples are combined to form the unique cultural look of “Top Five Temples of Tainan” nowadays.
Children are trained to acquaint with local culture during the elementary school stage. The team selected the “centipede formation”- a religious culture for the development of project design teaching tools. Using different methods, the highly special culture of centipede formation is comprehended to implement rural art education and enhance the importance of cultural recognition.
