現今社會便捷的發展，其背後帶來的影響，首當其衝擊的總是自然環境與生活在其中的生物。人們因為沒有身歷其境而無法感同身受生態的變化。因此，本片以水中生物的視角串聯的世界觀，借臺灣民謠故事「鯽魚娶親」作為故事藍，本反思環境污染所帶來的變化及危機。

垃圾污染改變了河川的生態環境，人類造成的成堆垃圾曾幾何時變成了水底生物日常生活中的一環，隨處都可看到由垃圾製成生活器具或建築的蹤影。
主角鯽明趁著良辰吉時，興高采烈的迎娶他未婚懷孕的新娘金水。
樂隊的鑼鼓聲敲響了婚禮的序曲。卻因為積年已久的垃圾崩塌造成的意外，導致一場悲劇的發生。

婚禮象徵人生另一個階段及新生命的開始，卻因為人為的汙染導致變成一場令人悲痛的喪禮。藉此劇情讓觀者反思：「如果我是魚，這會是我希望的結局嗎？」最後以達到關注環境、愛護生態的理念。

The wedding

The rapid development of today's society has brought about significant impacts, and the natural environment and its inhabitants are always the first to be affected. As people have not personally experienced these changes, they may not fully empathize with the ecological changes. Thus, this film uses the perspective of aquatic creatures to connect a worldview and borrows the Taiwanese folk story "The Carp's Wedding" as the story's blueprint. By combining local traditional customs, the film narrates the story of a newlywed fish couple living in the river, from their wedding to the occurrence of a disaster and finally their funeral, turning the symbol of new life, the wedding, into a funeral. Through this, the film reflects on the changes and crises caused by environmental pollution.

Garbage pollution has altered the ecological environment of rivers, and the piles of garbage caused by humans have become a part of the daily lives of underwater creatures, with traces of life utensils or buildings made from garbage visible everywhere. The protagonist, Ji Ming, joyfully marries his pregnant bride, Jin shui, during an auspicious time. The sound of the band's drums heralds the start of the wedding, but an accident caused by a long-standing garbage collapse leads to a tragic event.

The wedding symbolizes another stage of life and the beginning of new life, but due to human pollution, it turns into a mournful funeral. Through the plot, viewers are prompted to reflect on whether this would be the ending they would wish for if they were fish. In the end, the film aims to raise awareness about the environment and encourage the protection of ecology.
