木友冰室

在炎熱的夏日裡，隨著天氣溫度越來越高，而國立屏東科技大學附近卻沒有可以避暑、休息的地方。我們利用學校旁閒置已久的空間來重新改造設計。這裡為學生聚集之地，也常有長者、觀光客觀光校園及運動，不僅是長者、年輕人也喜歡日本文化，甚至常常出國至日本遊玩，因此決定使用日式復古風，讓大家能在短距離就能體驗到日本的感覺。
我們將冰品結合木作DIY 。與國立屏東科技大學的食品科學系、農園生產系、木材科學與設計系合作。研發特製果醬及天然水果製作冰品，再以剩材利用的概念將木材科學與設計系所用裁切剩的木材、角料加工成手作小成品。
設計目的
1.改造舊有建築，促使人流:改造閒置已久的建築，吸引人流，讓昔日人煙稀少的地方變熱鬧，也能促進消費。
2.增加可以消暑休閒的地方: 增加能夠吃冰及泡腳，讓炎熱的夏日，能夠吃一碗冰消消暑，休息一下。
3.結合學校的資源與特色:引用校園裡的環保公園，設置可泡腳閒憩的地方。並邀請食品科學系、農園生產系、木材科學與設計系一起合作。
4.將木工工藝推廣出去:與木材科學與設計系合作推廣傳統木作，教大家製作小成品及認識有關於木工藝的歷史。

Muyou Ice Room

In the hot summer, as the weather temperature gets higher and higher, there is no place to escape the heat and rest near the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology.Used the long-vacant space next to the school to reinvent the design. It is a gathering place for students, and there are also many elderly people, sightseeing and sports, not only the elderly, but also young people like Japanese culture, and even often travel abroad to Japan, so I decided to use Japanese retro style so that everyone can experience the feeling of Japan from a short distance.
We combine ice with wood DIY. It cooperates with the Department of Food Science, the Department of Farm Production, and the Department of Wood Science and Design of National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. Research and development of special jams and natural fruits to make ice products, and then use the concept of leftover wood science and design to process leftovers and scraps used in the Department of Wood Science and Design into handmade small finished products.
Design purpose
1. Transform old buildings to promote the flow of people: Transform buildings that have been idle for a long time to attract people, make once sparsely populated places lively, and also promote consumption.
2. Increase the place where you can cool off and relax: Increase the ability to eat ice and soak your feet, so that on a hot summer day, you can eat a bowl of ice to cool off and rest.
3. Combine the resources and characteristics of the school: refer to the environmental protection park on campus and set up a place where you can soak your feet and relax. The Department of Food Science, the Department of Farm Production, and the Department of Wood Science and Design are invited to work together.
4. Promote woodworking: Cooperate with the Department of Wood Science and Design to promote traditional woodwork, teach everyone to make small finished products and understand the history of woodworking.
