Taichung Nantun was known as “Litoudian” in ancient time and formerly the field of living for Pingpu tribe. After 1722, the Hans people eventually migrated for reclamation. It was known that the local people maintained the unique dragon boat festival by “wearing wooden clogs” in order to get into the pangolin cave. The pangolin would be awakened to loosen the earth and people worship for abundant harvest, and that is the origin of “Nan-Tun Wooden Clog Festival.” The team has designed this board game for players to play the different ethnic groups and understand the importance of teamwork. The story picture book of the legend helps passing down this folklore Wooden Clog Festival.
