可能你會聽過或看過希臘神話的故事，但是這款桌遊卻不是完全照神話裡的故事搬演著，這款桌遊《創世神話》是一款湊套蒐集、角色選擇的桌遊。
故事的背景在很久很久以前的古希臘。當宙斯等人費盡千辛萬苦終於推翻克羅諾斯的獨裁統治而可以鬆一口氣時，玩家等人卻要扮演覬覦宙斯之位的眾神，透過卡片運營收買各眾神及英雄與宙斯相爭天下。
其實不同於希臘藝術作品【理想美】那和諧、健康的審美理想的畫風，這款桌遊用的是日本動漫的美術風格來表現神、英雄。當設計的卡圖與崇敬的神相呼應，神卡的設計來自於神聖莊嚴的藝術殿堂，角色的個性與形象而有了鮮明的印象。
