Shopping Design - Fruit Store

2019年年末疫情來襲,造成全球經濟體系改變、購物型態被迫轉型,消費者加速轉往線上通路購物 ; 反之,實體店面則面臨著客戶流失、傳染風險高等諸多問題,紛紛歇業。因此我們不禁思考,在這個不得已與疫情共存的時代,實體店面該如何轉型以適應此現況呢?
我們以市井街頭常見的水果攤販作為假設的依據,並以零接觸及便捷的購物體驗兩者做為目標,且同時考量顧客、店員及商品三者間的訴求,模擬未來實體商店的購物型態。
於設計層面,在規劃店面時,我們希望能將員工及顧客的路線分流,降低彼此間的接觸機會,為了達成這個目標,我們設計了能讓員工於倉儲中作業的水果貨架,和結合RFID技術之購物車,期望能有效降低了人們間近距離接觸的機會及潛藏的傳染風險。

At the end of 2019, the epidemic struck, resulting in changes in the global economic system, forced transformation of shopping patterns, and accelerated consumers' shift to online channel shopping; On the other hand, physical stores are facing many problems such as customer churn and high risk of infection, and have closed down. So without thinking, in this era of unavoidable coexistence with the epidemic, how can physical stores transform to adapt to this situation?
Based on the assumptions of fruit vendors commonly found on the streets of the city, we aim at contactless and convenient shopping experience, and consider the demands of customers, clerks and goods at the same time, simulating the shopping pattern of future physical stores.
In terms of design, when planning the storefront, we hope to divert the route of employees and customers and reduce the contact opportunities between each other, in order to achieve this goal, we have designed a fruit shelf that allows employees to work in the warehouse, and a shopping cart combined with RFID technology, hoping to effectively reduce the opportunity of close contact between people and the hidden risk of infection.
